THE BRIGHT RED "SWIFT"

When we hear "BRIGHT RED" - Ferrari is the first name that comes to us (hereafter referred to as car enthusiasts :) ). Well, we can only enthusiastically talk about the Ferrari(www.ferrari.com) cos Enzo wasn't thinking of us when he developed his cars.Anyway, let me not digress - so this blog is dedicated to the tribe who happily own a red swift. And i am one happy 'swifter' who has thoroughly enjoyed the bright red ever since I got "her" in April 2006. I am not even sure if its a "her" or the "bad boy" guess each one of you would assign a gender or a name to the bright red. I would be happy to hear your stories about the bright red of your life.

Well it all started in Feb 06 when I moved back to India and was deciding on which car to buy - my obvious choice in color was RED but wasn't too sure of the make. I seriously contemplated on buying a Honda City, Civic (which was yet to be launched), Ford Fiesta and almost bought the Ford (although i was a tad disappointed that it didn't come in bright red). But then I wasn't convinced if a sedan like city/fiesta would suit my style - No offence to any who own these vehicles - i find them a bit boring - my idea of fun is not travelling in a car with 5 family members - I'd rather choose something smaller and peppy and the car that I always wanted was a RED mini cooper with white racing stripes (www.mini.co.uk, www.miniusa.com etc) - and SWIFT came close in appearance and look and feel and THAT and ONLY THAT was a factor in my decision to buy my bright red swift.
I will keep this blog active and keep posting new pics, comments and useful tips for the swift owners :).
Have a good one

Hi, is it possible to fit body colored door handles and body colored ORVM’s to the Vxi model ?

Thanks.

Yes, it can be done without much pains. The dealer sometimes only takes the difference when you get them changed at the time of delivery. Otherwise you may get it changed when you take it to the dealer for servicing
